mimoOn GmbH joins the Global Certification Forum (GCF)
Duisburg, Germany – 7th July, 2010: mimoOn GmbH, a pioneer in LTE software implementations for programmable Software Defined Radio (SDR) platforms, announces its membership of the Global Certification Forum (GCF) to ensure that it’s LTE mi!TestMOBILETM product works effectively on mobile networks anywhere in the world. GCF's guiding maxim is "test once, use anywhere."
By subjecting mimoOn’s mi!TestMOBILETM device to a common set of agreed tests, certification significantly reduces acceptance testing overheads for individual operators and makes it easier for manufacturers to offer their devices in multiple markets simultaneously. GCF Certification is supported by the world's leading network operators, device manufacturers and other stakeholders such as test system suppliers and test houses.
